Chiropractic work has been sought after for over a century. This specific modality uses your body’s regenerative ability to assist in its own healing. Our chiropractor uses strategic manipulations to realign and rehabilitate. Chiropractors are commonly solicited for auto accident recovery as well as stiff necks, headaches, migraines, joint pain, osteoarthritis, degeneration, carpal tunnel, or spinal disc injury. We work along side our LMT’s and Acupuncturists because we believe that your best chance at healing involves a combination of services.
Acupuncture primarily involves the use of very fine needles to manipulate the bodies circulatory system, nervous system and facial layers to regenerate quicker and assist in helping the body through acute injuries and chronic recovery. Picture this: When you get a sliver, your body has the innate ability to eventually push it out on its own. This sliver has elicited a similar reaction that acupuncturists are triggering with their needles. Needles are inserted in specific points that create micro tears to signal the body to send receptors to that area thus creating a circulatory healing effect. Many patients have sought out the use of acupuncture for internal medicine as well as musculoskeletal disorders.
Our LMT’s work hand in hand with our Chiropractor and Acupuncturists to take your healing up a notch. Our therapists are skilled in frozen shoulder release, trigger and motor point therapies, stiff neck, auto accidents, chronic and acute injuries involving joints, ligaments and musculoskeletal. They are guided by their vast knowledge of how the body should move and operate and through pressure and palpation they are able to intuitively guide your treatment to seek out the areas that stress and injury are effecting. Thus creating a relaxing yet effective approach to healing.
We refer to cupping as a reverse deep tissue/massage with lymphatic drainage effects! We use a suction device to expand the tissue and create space for circulation and blood flow. It creates a controlled inflammatory response to specific areas that need special attention. Cupping can help with everything from muscle tension to cold/flu, migraines, twisted ankle etc. Basically anything related to the circulatory system, musculoskeletal system and immune system! We also offer facial cupping sessions. Facial cupping is a different from cupping on the body, as it is much gentler and should not leave marks. This treatment is great for relaxation, decreasing puffiness of the face, boosting collagen production, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
